2015 Formula 1 Cars: Nose-jobs and Liveries

2015 Formula 1 Cars: Nose-jobs and Liveries-imageuploadedbyteambhp1424119690.759222.jpg
Couldn't find any common thread to discuss the new liveries and nose-jobs so made this.
The new regulation nose makes the entire grid more pleasing to the eye, thank god for that.
And livery-wise I loved RedBull's camo-livery idea! Wouldn't be surprised to see more teams do something similar in the future.
Let's hope the new colors bring Sauber some luck.
Was expecting McLaren-Honda to do go for the classic white and red colors.
What do you guys think of the new noses and colors?

I like the front profile of McLaren-Honda. It has a lower and more elegant nose design.

They all look more or less the same to me. But anything is better than the phallus or genital resembling nose that Caterham showed us.

slightly off topic : hey syed good to see you back. if i am not mistaken you were hyderbad's supercar/import spotter king back in the good old days.

Re: 2015 Formula 1 Cars: Nose-jobs and Liveries

The grid will be a really bland place this season. What's with the grey fixation?

I hope Sauber retain that blue, and Mclaren paint their car something else. It's a shame they won't go back to their original orange.

The only livery I like is the Lotus, black and gold is a timeless classic, and they've got the red highlights just about right. The Mercedes car will probably win both awards, the best looking car and the boring-est paint-job. Please lose the horrible Petronas green in a hurry (won't happen, I know).

Mclaren will be changing their livery ahead of the the Australian GP. Red Bull also are expecting to come up with a colour scheme thats quite exciting.

I like the Red Bull camouflage concept. Let's see what colors they use, and whether they retain the camo pattern in color. I saw a couple of colored renders on another forum and it looked fabulous.

I am curious to know if the sponsors would not object to their brand colours being diminished in the camouflage print.

I suspect a metal gloss (mirror) finish like how the Mclaren was last couple years.

How is this for a nose job and livery?

This Ferrari F1 Concept was created by Centro Stile Ferrari design studio.

Sauber have extended a orange/yellow pin-stripe on the nose and rear view mirrors of their 2015 car. Looks a bit more complete if you ask me.

Wow! Simply wow! Beauty in motion.

What does 'concept' actually mean? Proposed design? Hypothetical design? Future design? Artwork? I mean how realistic is it to expect to see this design actually on the track?

Proposed design I guess would be the right word for it. The strategy group have their heads together trying to make F1 more exciting. 1000bhp engines are part of the proposal and radical changes to the car such as the one showed by Ferrari. The Italian marquee has gone forward in saying that "not much" would have to be changed to implement such designs in F1.

It is rumored that Mclaren and Red Bull also have made such conceptual designs but didnt bother showing them as they werent as impressive as what Ferrari have done.

The reality in seeing something like this happen? My personal opinion is that it is unlikely to go through. Rules revamp proposed for 2016 has already been put on the back-burner and is likely to be discussed for the 2017 season only.

All I am sure about is the fact that it looks gobsmacking beautiful!

Read up this very insightful article by James Allen to know more. IS THIS HOW F1 CARS OF THE FUTURE WILL LOOK?

Re: 2015 Formula 1 Cars: Nose-jobs and Liveries

Christian Horner promised us all a very exciting livery for the Red Bull this season. I dont know how he could term this as exciting. Its the exact same thing every year.

Best livery of the year goes to Force India in my opinion.
