Looks like I have to eat my words..Marquez is very fast and smooth. Giving Doc a very tough time. Nail biting stuff!

I don't think so. Marq tried his last desperate trick. He was never going to make that corner. It was Vale who avoided a big shunt

I have no words, I'm absolutely speechless. WHAT AN EPIC!!!

One of the best ever, this is Marc's Catalunya I guess! Mano-a-mano, 1:1, destroyed Marc Marquez and lit up Assen, that's VR46 for you!

THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME just proved that he really is the greatest to walk God's green earth.

A Rossi master-class that I'll remember all my life, till my last moment.

Lorenzo - Lonely again, but now in 3rd. Never really looked into the fight at all.

Last corner, it was Marc's desperate lunge, and Rossi actually avoided the clash, no need for any investigation at all.

Looks like Marc doesn't agree with you!

Re: The 2015 MotoGP Thread

Marc was ahead in the final corner before they touched. Cut the chicane to win. Should have given up his place. Not a fair win.

But credit to Rossi,he rode well. Marc even better.

Re: The 2015 MotoGP Thread

No need to write big tomes.

Time trialists underscored once more that they do not have the brass for a scrap.

At least the kid is a racer, though a marked one now after the leg barge.

God ?

We don't write about Him.

We don't analyze Him.

We just feel privileged to have shared the earth in His time down here.

Anyone lesser would have lost it.

Re: The 2015 MotoGP Thread

What a race!

Coming to the last corner, I think if Rossi had stayed into the corner, both Marquez and he might have crashed out.

It was fortunate that he had the track to run into after the gravel. But again, fortune favors the brave, doesn't it?!

And that's exactly why Marc always has a lot of respect for Rossi, it's a racer versus racer.

It's why Marc is more popular overall than the other Yamaha rider as well, at least in my book. Cos he RACES, not just runs in arcade mode.

It was a whole galactic system higher than just bravery.

Leaned over, at those speeds, when the camera lost him and the cloud of dust , me and millions thought he had gone down.

When I saw for the first time what He actually did, I got religion.

Re: The 2015 MotoGP Thread

Not a regular MotoGP follower, but nice race!
Commentators couldnt stop praising Rossi's start, while Lorenzo made up 5 places in a lap!

I hope the last corner incident is investigated. Rossi didnt even try to make it, just cut across!
