Mental lap from Vettel. The bulls couldn't even come close. Kimi would also have been second if he'd not messed up that corner. Too bad its not a ferrari grid lockout.

Great lap from Vettel and another shocker from Kimi. I think Ferrari have this one in the bag with a good opportunity to increase the gap to Lewis.
Similar performances at Renualt. I was expecting McLaren ahead, but the PU difference still too large.
Its going to be a gruelling race tom, wonder if we will witness any fatigue related incidents.
With Vettel and Verstappen on the first row, first few corners will be really interesting, hope they get a good start. Ricciardo will be pushing hard as well.
It's been raining on and off today at Singapore.

Vettel could have avoided that squeeze to his left and avoided that nasty accident. His loss, just gave away that pole position which was to his full advantage and could have re-gained the championship lead.
If Hamilton wins this, it's a 40 point swing in favor of Hamilton (vs Vettel winning and Hamilton finishing 5th)! What a gift from Vettel to his rival in a track where Ferrari were expected to take 1-2!

It will actually be 28 point lead. But yes, it looks pretty dark for Vettel now on.

If Vettel won and Hamilton 5th, then Vettel would have had a 12 point lead. Swing from that result to this is 40 point, that's what i meant.

For a change two of the most experienced drivers precipitated a situation. The young gun seemingly had no where to go.

Verstappen seemed to see Vettel put the squeeze on him, braking and turning to avoid Vettel but in the process collecting Raikkonen's rear tyre. Not really much he could do, he may have collected Vettel if he held his line. Terrible result for Ferrari. To say that the driver's championship for Ferrari is an uphill task would be an understatement, especially with the rest of the tracks favoring the Mercedes car. Ferrari would really need to pull something out of the bag. Hamilton's got his miracle.

Largely boring race other than the fireworks at the beginning which all agree could have been avoided.
Hamilton controlled the race at the head decently and somehow found pace which was missing all across the weekend.
In other news which was briefly mentioned by Karun in the commentary and now being reported in
Drivetribe, turns out Twitterati are being prompted by Ferrari's official Twitter account to blame Max for the incident.
Edit: Seeing that image posted of the Ferrari-Redbull-Ferrari sandwich in the below post is so heartbreaking. It could easily have been the most entertaining race of the year if they had all stayed on unbroken.
Lewis got his miracle start and capitalized on it.
Having built a healthy lead over Vettel, I think he can rest easy now.
Lewis was dominant on Sunday, unlike the other sessions where RedBulls were quicker.
After a crazy start like that, Ferrari has only themselves to blame.
Vettel went right across the track to compensate for a slow start.
What happened was not surprising.
Alonso was the collateral damage in all this.

What a turn about of situations!
Lewis is definitely thanking his lucky stars. Vettel surely would have won this one if it wasn't for the start drama. But as Verstappen said, Vettel paid the price for risk.
Hamilton now heads to Sepang with a 28 point lead.
It looked like Vettel didn't expect a brilliant start from Raikkonen and to be on the side of Verstappen. Anyways, he blew away a good chance to get the lead back from Hamilton.
Poor Alonso, he got a very good start too but got collected in this mess. :Frustrati
And Hulkenberg, he was in a position to fight for a podium but unlucky again.
Sainz and Perez had a good fight to finish P5 and P6.
Now Vettel needs a miracle to win the championship. Hamilton has one hand the championship. There is no stopping Hamilton now, Bottas has settled comfortably into 2nd position. Full credit to him for the race, driven like a champion. We might even see a repeat of 2013 a dominant winning streak.
What I would like to see top three battling out for championship.
