Re: The 2018 MotoGP Championship

With the win at Sepang, Marquez seals the championship for Honda. Honda are the 2018 constructor champion and Repsol Honda is Team champion.
Hope Pedrosa wins one last time at Valencia !

Re: The 2018 MotoGP Championship

Poor guy, despite having consistent laps, just could not take further pressure with Marquez hot on his heels, was expecting to see some race craft, but appears Rossi has gotten too shy.

Re: The 2018 MotoGP Championship

Quite an eventful qualifying session for the last MotoGP race of the season.

Both Yamahas relegated to Q1. Vinales makes it to Q2 while Rossi will start P16

Marquez takes a tumble 2 minutes into the session. Dislocates his left shoulder. Gets his shoulder popped back in and comes back out and sets a lap 0.1s slower than eventual pole-man Vinales to secure P5.

Petrucci looked strong to take his first ever pole position. But it was not to be.

Zarco, Rins, Dovi all looked like they would take pole after the chequered flag was out but all made mistakes and lost Pole.

The Italians will be sandwiched between four Spaniards come tomorrow.

1) Vinales
2) Rins
3) Dovi
4) Petrucci
5) Marquez
6) Pol Espargaro

Pedrosa will start his last MotoGP race from P9. Hope he gets onto the podium somehow. Would be a fitting end for his MotoGP career.

Expect Rossi to do his Sunday Magic and run a good pace tomorrow. Hope the last MotoGP race of the season leaves us with enough until the next season opener!
