Only race of the calendar starting on Thursday, still.
Mercedes seems to have started well on the street circuit where track position matters the most. Red Bull were very strong here last year when Ricciardo defended his winning position despite having serious power loss issues.

Even though FP1, FP2 and Qualifiers are listed on Star Select 2, I could not see the Race listed yet.

Someone has trigerred a certain Lewis Hamilton and he sure as hell doesn't want to come 2nd this weekend.:D
Let us hope (as claimed) Ferrari say that they go easy on Day 1. So let us see. Ferrari have a higher torque as per the media. So today's P3 and Q may be interesting. Also, Monte Carlo is very difficult to overtake, so Qualification is critical.
What was once the most exciting races on the calendar, Monaco in recent years has become one of the most boring races. Qualifying will play a major part, with not much overtaking taking place and most of the race being a tyre management fiasco. Hopefully this year will bring a little more excitement.

Monaco? Exciting?
As far back as I remember, this track has always been about qualifying. And little to no overtaking.
FP3 Results
Mixed session for Ferrari. While Leclerc managed to beat the Mercedes pair with the fastest lap by a tiny margin, Vettel crashed early in the session compromising his preparations for the qualifiers.
In the midfield battle, Toro Rosso and Alfa Romeo seems to have edge over others.
Oh no! What a horror show by Ferrari!? They forgot about LeClerc!! So focussed on getting Vettel into Q2 they forgot they had another driver.
Another Mercedes 1-2 with Ferrari struggling to match the phenomenal Max. Mega pole lap by Lewis. He is phenomenal.
Only hope for Ferrari is if Max takes out both Mercedes at the start but Max has really matured since he made that error in Monaco last year, so that's not gonna happen. Unless it rains, it will be an uneventful race.

Track is too narrow for Vettel to safely spin around, so he keeps hitting the barriers trying to show the world how frustrating it is to be in that Ferrari camp. lol:

Sorry for Leclerc done in Q1. We should have some exciting overtaking coming as he carves his way through the back markers. Sorry for Vettel's misfortunes. I hope his car is in good shape. we again got a Merc 1-2.

Ferrari - lesser said the better. It's like RCB :deadhorse
Champions drive by Hamilton. Thoroughly deserved to win for defending Verstappen that long. And Mercedes for keeping him there and not caving in.
By far the best moment in the race was:

Good defensive drive by Lewis to win the race, with lots of whining on radio. Max deserved the Driver of the Day title for his only overtaking attempt on Lewis. For a change Vettel had a quiet and uneventful race to split the Mercedes on podium.
I feel Leclerc should have waited bit longer to plan his moves rather getting aggressive in the beginning. Remember last year Max finished 9th starting from back of the grid.
Good results for Toro Rosso in the midfield battle. And good to see all Honda powered cars in top 10.

I still don't understand how a driver after hitting twice other cars, earned 5 second penalty can become the Driver of the Day :Frustrati
Had Max kept his cool while exiting pit he would have finished 3rd and ahead of Vettel in standings.
What Hamilton did was a copy of what Senna did in 1992. A champion's drive to hold Max who was driving on more durable hard compound tires.
