This has happened today during Formula 3 race at Monza. Miraculously, the driver Alexander Peroni has survived. Horrific crash, just a week after Anthoine Hubert's crash.

Isn't that a sausage? Those things are nasty. I saw massa destroy his car at the BIC, and it's violent. Happened right across from where I was sitting. For f1 cars, this are almost like ramps off of an aircraft carrier. And that's what happened here. At least at bic, the cars only broke apart because there some soft ground before the sausage.

Horrific accident but amazing to see him walk out even after the first impact was upside down. The design of the car probably protected his head.
