Fernando Alonso quits as McLaren Ambassador!

So after quitting F1 and his short appearance in the Indy 500, he has finally decided to end his association with McLaren. He had lately shifted his focus from F1 to endurance championships with his appearances in Dakar Rally this year as well as Le Mans.

Sad to see a potentially great partnership which could've taken the fight to the Mercedes juggernaut fall so lamely. Although their were rumours of his return when McLaren started doing well with Renault engines in 2019 and Sainz/Norris were breaking into Q3 every other race. Sainz is one driver I am most excited about, performed really well in 2019.
