DSport is a available on Tata Sky for those interested. It’s channel number 496 and in the sports section in the channel guide.

Cheers

Hey Ashwin. Thanks for that link. Will check it out.

To be honest, I did not even know about the Ferrari Racing days event.

Surprise.. Surprise!! Pol Espargaro will be sharing the seat at HRC with Marquez in 2021.

Alex Marquez will be put on an LCR Honda.

This is really exciting for the 2021 season.

On lighter note, the title of Poll is wrong, it should be 2020 not 2019. Let me play Nostradamus here. Marquez will win 2019.

2020, there should be an additional options No races, so No one will win.

Re: The 2020 MotoGP championship thread

Amidst the ongoing pandemic, MotoGP 2020 season (premier class) is all set to begin tomorrow at Jerez.

Rookie of the year 2019 - Fabio Quartararo, pulls an amazing pole position and puts the satellite Yamaha ahead of the works Yamaha of Maverick Vinales.

Marquez has had an eventful start to the season with an incident involving Alex Rins in FP3. He has had a good outing in all the sessions and looks to be the man to bet for the weekend. He will start 3rd on the grid.

13 races only to decide the 2020 crown.

Finally, the action begins tomorrow.

PS: Broadcast on TV will be on Eurosport Channel (Dsport) and not on the Sony Network.

Thanks VR! It’s on the Tata Sky network on Eurosport HD at 1730 IST tomorrow.

What’s surprising is, it’s showing up on the Tata Sky network without subscribing to it (for me at least). Eurosport as a channel is not even showing as an option on the Tata Sky mobile app.

Anyone seeing this or can shed some light on why this is happening?

Cheers

What an epic ride by Quartararo. Q1 and Q2 were a treat to watch. But it's a shame Rins won't be racing today. The last crash after Q2 he dislocated his shoulder and is ruled unfit to race. All that effort in Q1 got wasted. And it puts major ding in his championship run.

Tatasky has these bundled packs type subscription also right? I guess maybe if you are subscribed to a sports pack or something maybe it's part of it.

The Eurosport HD is available on Jio TV as well.

Anyways, hoping for an epic race today.

Re: The 2020 MotoGP championship thread

What an epic race.
Marq is just nothing short of alien. Even besides the fact of the crash, I don't think anyone can question his skill anymore.

His injuries look a bit serious though. Hopefully, he will be fit to ride next week.

El Diablo took a very deserving win anyways.

What a way to start 2020 season.

Cheers

Re: The 2020 MotoGP championship thread

Very good race and happy for Quartararo. He deserved a win in 2019. Hope Marquez’s injury is not too bad. Will be good to see him back next week and fight it out with Quartararo and Maverick.

Re: The 2020 MotoGP championship thread

Even though I was rooting for Fabio to win, damn that ride produced by Marquez was out of this world. Clawing back to third after a save like that.

Wished he had finshed the race. Wish the champ and others speedy recovery.

Re: The 2020 MotoGP championship thread

What an amazing race and simply unbelivable racing by MM93! The miracle-save that put him to the end of the grid, the 'ride-like-possessed' pace, the playstation-like-overtake maneuvers followed by the heartbreak! This was almost like a movie script!

It was a rather rough weekend with Crutchlow, Rins and Marc crashes. Hope all the champs recover soon!

And oh, Boris is back with MotoGP too. "Dear George" fans will enjoy this.

How we have missed all this fun!
