Jehan Daruvala signs up with Mahindra Racing Formula E team

Jehan Daruvala has signed up to be a Reserve Driver for the Mahindra Racing Formula E team for season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

According to the team, Jehan will be working on the simulator alongside engineers, providing car development and race support for drivers Luca Di Grassi and Oliver Rowland. He will be based at the team’s headquarters in Banbury, UK, but will attend some races, including the inaugural Hyderabad ePrix in February 2023.

Jehan is a 4-time Formula 2 race winner and has also completed three F1 tests with McLaren. In his rookie year, Jehan finished third in the FIA Formula 3 Championship. He came third in the F3 Asian Championship, racing for Mumbai Falcons in 2021.
