I subscribed to F1 TV Pro on Tuesday.

Bought the plan through the mobile app for $24.99 per annum which I personally think is an absolute steal! After conversion, I was charged about 1989 on my card.

For those feeling upset about this additional cost, allow me to put things into perspective - the very same subscription (with the same features) in Europe is 110 Euros per annum! So $24.99 is a bargain!

Also, I am secretly happy that Hotstar terminated their broadcasting contract with Liberty Media because it was quite poor. Pathetic frame-rates aside, we had absolutely nothing else during the race weekends except FPs, quali and the race itself. With F1 TV Pro, you get so much more like the pre-race and post race shows, pre-season / winter testing broadcast, on-board camera views, etc.

Sometimes its updated as $23.99 and in app its updated as Rs. 2499. That is not a logical conversion.

I think the actual subscription charges are 29.99$ and there is a 20% discount for first year and it comes to 23.99$.

20% discount for F1 TV Pro 23.99$ for First year

This is the best price I think we can get right now.

Anyone has sideloaded the app successfully on Android TV? Oneplus , specifically?

Can anyone share the link of the app or how to proceed with it? I've searched on Google Play but I see only F1 TV which has delayed broadcast of races after 2 days.

Are you out of India? How are you getting the dollar price? I'm getting the INR pricing for annual and monthly which is a slightly higher rate than what you got. (referring to the left option that allows live viewing).

F1 TV app is the correct mobile app. Login/register and you'll see the subscribe options (= payment) as above. Of course its not mandatory if one doesn't want to use the races live.

Go to the F1 TV website on your browser. Don't use the app. You'll get the dollar price there. $23.99 promotion ends on 26th.

I believe F1 made a blunder by not renewing the broadcast rights. Only existing F1 fans will subscribe to F1 TV. It is not going to bring any new fans to the sport.

Just subscribed to F1 TV Pro Annual Plan with the 20% off Intro Price Offer. Cost me 1987 INR post conversion. One thing i noticed which might be helpful for others interested is the F1 TV Mobile App shows the F1 TV Pro Annual Subscription rate as 2499 INR with no 20% Intro Price. Whereas, on the Web Browser, it shows 23.99 $ as Intro Price and 29.99 $ from next year. For those interested in availing the Intro Offer, it is valid till 26 Feb.

Thanks, guys. Got the intro $23.99 price via the browser (~1987 INR). But this is a sneaky but worthwhile move by the F1 management - to get the maximum buck out of interested F1 viewers.

Note to myself: Keep a reminder to remove the automated renewal next year.

Probably because on App store they would have had to give that 20% to Google/Apple, here they have passed that discount directly to customer.

Is there an option to cast/airplay from the mobile/laptop to any smart TV?
Can anyone using the app confirm this.

I want to watch the broadcast on TV, but I am off cable/dish since few years now.

:Cheering:Yes I got subscribed.

My Hotstar renewal is on 13th March. Bye for now Hotstar :p

Thanks for this.
Bought, logged in, and saw an Aston crash!
Will try the sideload on TV and update too.

You mean the long red flag session. Aston just stopped on track. It took them good amount of time to crane it out.

OK. I saw the crane, and thought the usual.
