2023 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix | Marina Bay Street Circuit | 15 -17 September

This year's race in Singapore has a revised track layout reducing the number of corners from 23 to 19.

Both Ferrari cars dominated FP1 and FP2. Will they carry on the momentum during the race or will the Max juggernaut continue and set another record?

A yellow flag appeared during FP1 as there was a lizard on the track. It was Max who noticed the animal first. "Ah. There's a lizard on the track again." His engineer Gianpiero Lambiase responded in his calm tone: "Maybe Godzilla had a kid" referring to 2016, when in a similar case, the pair gave a lizard the nickname: Godzilla.

Formula 1 has announced that it will produce a second F1 Kids broadcast during this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix, following a successful pilot earlier in the season in Hungary with Sky UK and Sky Deutschland.

No lap record due to the revised track layout.

Whoa, so Sector 3 will be massively quicker. Let's hope it improves the spectacle, but looks like it won't be a DRS zone?

Things are getting interesting. Both redbulls out in Q2 and Verstappen has two investigations hanging on his head. We probably we will see the first non-redbull winner of the year.

Both Redbulls out in Q2... Looks like Flexi wings ban clipped the wings of Redbull

Does that means there will be much scope for overtaking as the earlier Singapore races didn't had much in terms of overtaking. The performance from Ferrari is prompting me to bite the bullet and take the one month subscription. Was holding until now because of Ferrari's poor performance.
Two back to back poles surely means they have improved right

As per the image above, looks like it has after Turn 17

The Scarlet Prancing Horses are always very quick in the Qualifying Session. They have mostly been in Top 10 during Qualifying this season. Being a Scuderia fan is like being a Manchester United fan. The Sunday Race is where the real tension starts. They simply do not maximise on the opportunity, the tyre degradation is very flimsy on various circuits and lastly the Strategy is never up to the mark! Not to say their tyre management on high fuel and low fuel needs improvement significantly.

Unfortunately am Manchester United fan as well, so on weekends it is twice the pain. Just following the text commentary is getting me nervous. Hope they don't screw up the strategy.

I guess you just need to accept that the BLUES are always going to give you PAIN and be at the top.

Ohh wait, did I forget to mention the Monday Blues after such weekends.

Wow wow wow!!!!
What a brilliant race!!!

On the edge of the seat racing right until the chequered flag.

Sainz drove superbly to use Norris as his blocker to the rampaging Mercedes'.
Russell was unlucky to miss out on the podium.

Thankfully, I was able to catch the race live this time around.

Easily the best race of the season.

What a smooooth operation by Sainz and what a commanding drive.
Virtual Safety Car really made the race so much more interesting. Had lost hope of Ferrari winning after the Mercs pitted but got to give it to Sainz. He gave it absolutely everything and what a drive!

Simply one of the best races off late.

Who would have thought the Singapore GP of all would turn out to be THE race of the season so far..

Totally edge of the seat excitement. Carlos was nothing short of brilliant. The way he managed the pace all throughout and along with Lando keeping the Mercs behind. I actually was feeling jittery after the Mercedes pit stops but finally a Ferrari victory.

A decent finish in 5th by Max as well.

What a stonker!

Brilliant Race. Extraordinary Sainz in action. Easily one of the best races of the season.

Ferrari winning a race after a long time. It’s time we have some more teams in the winning mix. This is what F1 needs.

As someone who started off in the hakkinen camp, hating the red cars from the core of my being, it's quite a departure to come here and thank the Ferrari for being the current highlight of two years of the most boring F1 ever. Thank you for terminating that streak too.

Go Hammy buay!!!
