RIP Colin. Why can't god see us motorsports enthusiasts happy? I was revelling in Karun Chandok's win in the morning. This news is saddening.

How can we for get Micheal 'Beef' Park - co-driver to Markko Martin who passed away in 2005!

Even Rossi dedicated today's victory to the late McRae!

Can't believe am hearing this....He was racing last year!

My God, this is tragic news indeed ! This man was a hero in my book ! Many people considered him a reckless driver, but I always thought it was just Colin pushing himself & his car to the limit ! Sad that somebody who dealt with crashes as a matter-of-fact as part of his professional life should ultimately be consumed by a crash...

Absolutely shocking start to this day. RIP Colin and others who passed away in the crash.

(Scottish Subaru Impreza Drivers Club formed a parade of Subarus outside of McRae's home in Lanark, Scotland, leaving a makeshift shrine and a note that said, among other sentiments, "May you enjoy going 'flat out' in God's special stage.") - Autoblog
