They could have made it interesting with the pit stop strategy too without putting much at risk but they decided to pit the same lap as Max. Yeah they might have lost position but it's a long season and we are into the 3rd race only. Now is the time to take some chances specially when you have one of the fastest cars on the grid.

McLaren's indecisiveness was the only significant event for this race and probably cost them the victory.

Among the two drivers, one should try undercutting Max. They didn't do that and Lando tried to overtake jn pit lane. Will Max ever give away.

And at the later stages it was shocking to not let Piastri try attacking Max. What was there to lose. They were having P2 P3 anyway
