Mclaren Drivers ?

Mclaren is having a very good battle on its hands in the team next season with ICEMAN Kimi paired with FIERY COLOMBIAN Montoya .....
Its like MR.FLAMES meeting MR.DYNAMITE .....
Who do you think will win the Mclaren Driver of the Season Battle ?

tough call..... its gonna be good battle between the two.....i cant decide between the two. Both are good drivers, one has aggressive devil-may-care attitude(Montoya) while the other is quick and cool (Kimi). All i say is its gonna be one helluva battle, that is, if Mclaren dont screw up the car!

Kimi is the Iceman, he will probably put the flames out! Sorry, that sounded much better in my head.

It really will be an awesome season. have been waiting for Montoya to go to Mclaren ever since he arrived in F1. Can't wait for next season to start. I think KR will have the upperhand in the early part of the season but once Montoya gets settled he'll be able to take the advantage back. Having said that, there really will not be much difference in their lap times.

I really dont think Montoya will be "settling" in the car early part of the season.... They'll do plenty of testing and Montoya will do lots of mileage, before the season begins... Shouldn't really be a problem... Its even-stevens if u ask me. But, only time will tell.

the mechanics will have the upper hand.and if the car manages to stay in one piece then i think it will be kimi who is gonna dominate in this season,as he has been with the team for all these years.so he definitely knows the mechanics and the car more than anyone else. and that only going to help me more.
on the other hand its gonna be a learning process for JPM,so maybe ocassionally he may be ahead ,but overall Kimi shud have no probs in dominating.

kimi rulzzzz.

looking at JPM's past with Ralf Schumacher, I guess Kimi is going to have a very tough time. Seems like he's not gonna give Kimi his space in the team or in the track.

According to the latest news , Ron Dennis has asked Montoya to Slim down so that he can fit into the Mclaren ..... it seems Montoya has put on lot of weight after winning the season ending Brazilian GP ...
so Before taking on Kimi , He has to take on his bulge .....

Kimi is going to beat Montoya hands down! The Iceman is much more consistent than the south american tempered JPM. JPM has his days when not even Schumy can catch him...but sadly they show only on one or two races of the year.

Kimi is also Ron Dennis' blue eyed boy. Off the track too, Kimi will enjoy the upper hand.

No doubt that Kimi Raikkonen will be ups. Hes more composed when in trouble and can nurse an ailing car well. JPM on the other hand rips the car apart and we have seen the no. of engine blows he has had at Williams. Another thing is the relationship between the 2 drivers. We have seen in the past JPM taking Ralf out and other tussles. Now if Kimi and JPM try to beat the hell outta each other, theres gona be another rivalry which wont be good for Mclaren. Kimi maybe ice cool but he too is human and can react.

Result?

These two fighting will make it easier for a certain 7 time Champion to win Championship no. 8. Now we all know who that is dont we?

true dat GTO

montoya has his days whn hes untouchable .. but lacks consistency ..
needs to get more reliability outta his car .. kimi has wot it takes to beat michael .. he has the aggression and the composure .. mi moneys on kimi this year man .. if mclaren get him a gud car package ...
the cars this season will run on smaller engines ...2.7L v8 s ... i wonder how it'll affect the mid feild runners like sauber n jordan ..minardi?

i just hope ferraris screw up big time ...
