Kubuca is out of the race with possible transmission problem.

Running order....

Raikkonen
Alonso
Massa

If this this how it ends, the championship points would be

Hamilton 107
Alonso 103
Raikkonen 100

Poor Hamilton, My heart goes out for him.

Now this sets up for an very interesting brazilian GP.
I cant imagine a tight 3 way battle for the drivers title in a very long time in the final race of the season.

what a change of fortune.Alonso must be smiling all the way.Purely Hamiltons mistake, coming high and dry into a wet pitlane on worn tyres. What was the need to be so aggressive on the pit entry.

And as usual both the commentators were clueless, even a racing guy like Goodwin, suggesting that Ferrari were using combination of soft and hard tyres. If they do watch the race they comment on then they will see that both Ferrari were on soft tyres with the white line vanishing slowly as the tyres stated to wear out.

Well alonso lives on. Raikko also has a very very good chance going into the next gp.
Great drive by both alonso and raikko.

So what happens if 2 drivers finish the championship with the same number of points AND the same number of wins in the season?

Well steve does it almost in every race. But I was not expecting goodwin to make the same mistake.

Kimi has won the Chinese GP 2007. I really felt bad for Hamilton. it was a sad exit for him out of the race

It was the perfect ending to the penultimate race. With 7 points seperating the top 3 contenders, it's gonna be a hair raising Brazilian GP.

It's gonna be very diff for Kimi though, but if it rains in Brazil, anything is possible.

You have to feel for Hamilton. But, this sort of sets it up for the last race. Top-3 cannot afford any slip ups and barring any technical issue, all 3 will be going for broke. Spare a thought for Massa, he might have to help out his team mate in his home race!

Torro Rosso came out of nowhere, but credit to them for hanging on. BMW and Renault already know where they finish in the championship and seem to be concentrating on their 2008 cars.

Lastly, Kimi made it look easy in tough conditions. Can he finish off with 6 wins in 2007...
