Agree with you that Kimi will be back but i guess McLaren has a better car this year and if they get going in Malayasia life will be difficult for Ferrari.
Ofcourse Mclaren have a better car this year but dont forget who is working at the backend of Ferrari....It's "Shumacher":D
I am sure Ferrari will be back with a Bang. watch out Mclaren
If Hamilton drove impeccably, it was because he had no car ahead of him and he had his wingman Heiki behind him. He also had one of the fastest, if not THE fastest car on that circuit.
Kimi is an aggressive driver and had to take every risk to get up to point scoring position. Putting soft tires on his car and driving like crazy on that 1st lap to move up several positions was unbelievable.
Fisi and Adrian did a decent job. I predict that one of them will end up in Q2 for the next race.
Malaysia Prediction... using my head
1) Hamilton ( Clearly one of the best drivers with the fastest steed )
2) Kubica
3) Kovalainen
Malaysia Prediction.......... from my heart :)
1) Kimi ( Clearly the best driver with the prancing steed )
2) Massa
3) Kubica

Massa looked really impressive to me. He really was improving lap by lap. Overall Ferrari and McLaren were looking quite a bit faster than the competition. The Top Speed Trap for instance and the Apex Speed Trap both were dominated by the McLaren and Ferrari. Hamiliton pulled of the fastest lap at the end of the session. Renaults had a tough day. They showed a clip of the Team Radio of Alonso, wherein he was saying about a broken suspension. He pitted after that lap and that was his end of the session. Piquet Jr. too was saying to his engineer about the car having immense understeer while entering the corners. The car looked a bit slower too. Kimi looked consistent, but almost stalled his engine twice. Once while on the installation lap and second while entering the pit at the end of the session. The commentators also marked the same thing saying that may be he was running on fumes. In the previous practice too he didnt have any mechanical problems, but his car died out in the middle of the track as the fuel got over. Anyways, looking forward to tomorrow. Will be interesting to see the different car setups and strategies the teams imply. Massa is someone, who is looking impressive.
Heikki is almost 1.5 secs off Hamilton's pace. A case of varying fuel loads maybe?

maybe Mclaren wanted their car to top the charts just to get the psychological advantage over Ferrari......
Ferrari dominated P1 and also the last but 5 minutes of second practice.....Mclaren put hamilton on soft tyres and maybe less fuel too
I have a feeling Ferrari was running low fuel loads in both Friday sessions. I think Raikkonen was running less fuel than Massa because it looked like he was running on fumes at the end, during both session. That makes Massa's times all the more impressive compared to Kimi.
Force India continues to claim midpack performance. But, they are still only ahead of Super Aguri which is essentially the bottom of the pack. Fisi's 9th finish during Friday afternoon was probably on low fuel load. If they can keep that fuel load for qualifying and work out a pit stop strategy for the race there might be some truth to their claim. Otherwise :Frustrati.

No they weren't.They had better long run pace than the Mclaren's.Their fastest times were set on hard tires.
What Hamilton did was a glory run, though Mclaren may have some pace up their sleeves.
