Well, I aint a Hamilton fan-boy, but to be fair he lost quite a bit of practice time this morning due to the Oil Pressure instrumentation failure. So he couldnt get enough time with the car with the new setup.

Sweet! :-) Hope it translates into a good result for Ferrari! Hmmm Hammy was busy doing the "warning" about the more pace that is yet to come. The prancing horses were working with their mouth shut I suppose.

Sepang can test the best. Renault & Williams looked totally out of sorts today. Rain is the keyword for tomorrow.

Both Mclaren drivers have been docked five places on the Sepang grid after stewards found them guilty of impeding in qualifying for the Malaysian grand prix. UpdateF1 >> Formula 1 News > McLaren duo penalised for impeding

Good Qualifying Session followed by lovely piece of news of docking 5 places. Nick Heidfeld really had to work his way through them which potentially cost him the grid position.
People have radios and race engineers! Why dont they radio the thing that there are faster cars coming behind them.

Hamilton is behind Alonso and Kov next to Alonso. Trulli is 3rd.

I'm loving it!!

In fact they were told on the radio that other cars were on their flying lap.

Will definitely make it a more interesting race. McLarens will try to storm through to the front, Ferrari will try and stay ahead, Alonso will want to upset the applecart, BMW's will certainly try to prove their worth.

Toyota is the surprise package. Trulli is a very under-rated driver.

What happened to Williams. They were very much in the top last race... Now 16 and 18th I think.

Wow! The McLaren grid penalty changes everything! As fate would have it, Hamilton is stuck behind Alonso. I don't think Hamilton will get any help from Kovalainen in handling Alonso on the first lap. It's every man for himself till the points standing within the team determines a clear leader during mid-season.

The same applies to the Ferraris.

Fisi in 17th place again. Obviously, the new aero parts have not helped them move up in to Q2 territory. Let's hope Fisi gets a clean start and has an opportunity to show their race pace.

Ferrari's were too good for the rest of the competition. Awesome performance from them. Great drive by Kimi. Felt really bad for Massa. Really bad. Trulli and Kubica surely proved their critics wrong today. Good job by Fisi to finish the race.
