Pretty sad Massa is all the way down in 9th cuz he had some wheelnut prob in the pits that prevented him from making a second flying lap in Q3.. Hope Massa n Kimi get a good run on raceday

First pole for Heikki. That final lap he was flying, We have to wait and see if it is real pace or a light fuel load. Hamilton again choked after looking good for a while. He could have easily had the pole with Ferraris and BMWs ou of the way.
Ferraris seem to be struggling here, but still a good lap from Kimi. But the real star of the qualifying was Webber, P2 in a Redbull is definitely a great achievement.
If it doesn't rain, its going to be two Finns fighting for the win tomorrow.

Kovaleinen has been consistent pretty much the whole weekend so far, so he might have had the same fuel load as his teammate, if not more.

Great run by Webber, didn't know the Red Bulls had that much potential. And Kubica struck by technical problems again. Hope he finishes in the podium at least.

You are probably right, actually Hamilton could be lighter given that McLaren would have wanted him to get pole for his home GP. But I think Heikki is lighter than Kimi's Ferrari.
Whatever the fuel load, this P1 he definitely deserves. He seems to be finally finding his feet at McLaren after some bad luck in earlier races. Given the car he drives and his talent, he should be higher up in that points tally

What did Ferrari have for lunch? They screwed up with their pit strategy for Kimi. They chose not to change tires and paid for it. Lewis did drive wonderfully! But the obsession for him from the television crew is becoming obnoxious.

Massa...he his days and when it is wet for sure it is not his day!

A very eventful and enjoyable race! Fonsi could have got a better result if he would have changed his tyres i guess. brilliant racing by everyone now that there is no traction control.

Something like what they did with the Schumachers? Esp. the elder one?

Mclaren deserved a win this time and they got it well. A very nice drive from Hamma!

they screwed it up big time.

Anyways, will be a real good season this year. There are 4 contenders now to claim the top spot with Kubica also very much still in the race.

Stupid!!! Stupid!!!!
What were Ferrari thinking. Its pouring and they dont change tyres
When they did this I commented to my wife who was watching the race with me that Ferrari have lost it and boy was I right. That Domenicali guy is no good. We want Jean Todt. Oh man what a painful day for the Tifosi. Add to that Massa's drive. I wonder why he didnt just park the car on a gravel trap and go home. He wasnt achieving much anyway. Great drive by Rubens.

Lewis was spectacular in his drive although a die hard Schumi fan that i am who is considered the Master in the rain and wet conditions,Lewis made me admire for his drive in such conditions. Lapping others from the 4th place onwards is something that speaks volumes of his drive.
