Nice race. Once again, the combo of Alonso and Renault proved difficult to beat. Ferrari has good straight line speed, but, not much more than that. Kimi seems to do everything right and throw it away at the last moment.
I don't think anyone's going to stop Alonso from running away with the Championship this year.

A very good race and a tough race for the drivers too. The race was absolutely dominated by Alonso, and he really drove like a champ and deserved the win. Can't wait to watch the US GP next week.

Kimi did well. But he had some clutch problem or whatever took him too much time in the pit stops. Otherwise it would have been even closer. It is good that they are getting closer. Alonso drove brilliantly but again his car is as perfect as it gets. MS did well to come 2nd from his 5th starting position. Montoya was fun to watch he was like a mad bull haha. He hit rosberg wheel to body and side on but somehow he escaped. Then his luck didnt last too long. Villenuevue had a bad day. Track was coming off in the end. Kimi just misjudged one curve in the last lap. But as he said 2nd or 3rd doesnt matter as winning was not possible anymore and he is not in the contest for the driver's championship anymore. Well done everyone.

Race Prediction - Indianapolis 2006

Now no one would have forgotten about last years race held here, even thought that'll never happen again.

Should be a fun race to watch esp. that very high speed curve that leads to the start finish straight, where Michelins were supposedly struggling last year.

And top teams as usual would be Renault, Ferrari and McLaren who seem to be on the same page as the Renault n Ferrari now...

So whats ur sy guys..

hahahaaaa dude count mclaren out...jokes aside the team is doing horrible...i am a mclaren fan....hardcore....since afer damon hill retired....but then this is poor reliability.....this is seriously no way a team performs on the top...u could say this season is renault and ferrari...ferrari only bouncing back last couple of races...otherwise ....renault...Mclaren better buck up...but i guess its going to be a ferrari win this us gp.....not because they won by default last time..but then won two yrs consecutive.so its ferrari and m.schumacher

Sato in Super Aguri?? Most optimistic prediction ever!!!

I know it is possible :
a) if Michelins again withdraw from US GP
b) if it rains heavily
c) multiple car accident

Looks like another Alonso victory this time too.
2nd and 3rd place, between Fisichella and Montoya.
(Just wanted to count Schumacher and Kimi out, grown so tired of them finishing 2nd and 3rd).
Instead of montoya, it might be Button. Or even Coulthard.

Guess its gonna be Schmuck on the top this time. Ferrari's i feel are a tad faster on straights and with the low downforce setup for the race. Schmuck cud take the chequered flag in 1st

1. Schmuck
2. Fonsi
3. Kimi if only his engine holds up
