Finally a victory for MS and a 1-2 for Ferrari. The long wait was well worth it. The celebrations after the race were quite interesting as MS was soo happy and it seemed as if he won his first ever GP. Who would imagine that he has record number of GP wins of all time under his belt. Just goes to show his insatiable hunger for speed, F1 and GP wins.
Bravo Bravo Bravo Shummi

Well done Ferrari. They deserved it. I was so happy when Alonso wasn't in the podium.
Also coincidentally, MS passed Massa in the pits as Massa's pitstop was a bit longer than Schumacher's. Otherwise he could have come first. But that's my assumption.

I was fortunate enough to be at Indianapolis for the race. I was at the stands at Turn 10 (cars doing about 70 km/hr) and walked over to the knoll between Turn 11 and 12 (where the speed climbs up to 275 km/hr). The screams of the F1 engines is something that can't be put in words. I have recorded it and it's my new ring tone on my cell phone!
It turned out to be a no contest race really! Obviously, Michelin screwed up with the tires again!! It was as if Alonso wasn't himself. Didn't see any aggresive driving from the Champ.
I wore my Kimi Raikonnen hat and was hoping to see my man on the podium, if not 1st atleast 3rd. What a disappointment to be taken out by your own teammate. I like Juan Pablo even less after Sunday's race.
Atleast, it was a better race than the one I watched last year with just 6 cars!

French GP 2006 - Race Prediction
Now that Ferrari are in good form and even won dominantly at Indianapolis, French GP will be even more interesting to see if Renault and Michelin can win on their home soil. I think Renault will be very good here, because may be the teams running Bridgestones had the advantage at Indianapolis. So what are your predictions for the race?
Here's my prediction -
