Brawn GP

The greatest irony is Honda are actually providing money for the first season, BrawnGP doesn't "go it alone" completely until next season. So Honda's money will pay for someone else's glory!
50 million $ in cash was given by Honda. The money that they would have had to pay out in redundancy.

Brawn GP is already on a high!

Button was 1.4 secs (although unofficial) faster than Kubica's timing of 1.20.5 in Q2 posted in last April.

Hopefully they should iron out the problems soon.
Any idea whether toyota is going to use KERS?
The use of Kers will anyways be starting from the European leg, so they have ample time to fix and test the system

I thought it starts from Melbourne itself.
Brawn GP continues to impress and be on top.
But again in all the preseason testings HONDA/BAR were strong and in races they tend to fade away.

Mclaren continue to struggle.

SOme of the teams are not yet confident with the KERS, so they may not use it in the initial races. We have to wait and see who brings KERS to Melbourne. BMW sure would, I think.

Massa says that there is no way that Ferrari could have matched the Brawn car timings for a single lap, it will be impressive if BrawnGP car can sustain this pace in a race.

Will it be a rerun of the 2004 season, with BrawnGP running away from the rest?

I would love to see Brawn GP pulling away from the rest. Man! This team deserves to win with all the hardships they've been thru and all the great effort they've put in to hold together.

Mclaren is in trouble with their latest aero design/chassis design according to Whitmarsh. That's really bad!
Hope they sort it out and show their might in Melborne.

If Mcalren struggles for pace this season we can see whether Lewis is as great as people claim him to be.

Last both seasons Mclaren was the best allround Package (IMHO).

Mclaren must be badly missing Newey at this moment or is it a 780 page document
