F1-2009...All your Discussions here....!

Since the year 2008 saw lot of ups and downs.

Also saw it was not one driver dominating with the likes of Vettel, Kubica, Glock! and others in the lot giving serious competition. And also inspite of having a nice race in the mid point our Force India cars would languish behind in bottom 2 every time.

What do you expect for the coming season, who will be in the top 10, since constructors is always the Ferrari lets leave it at that.

How better will be Vettel this year, where will Force India Cars be the coming year.

How does massa avenge his shattered title dreams.

Is hamilton one season wonder?

Where's our iceman, its long time since he's in hibernation.

How do you have a poll

Renault reveal their line-up for 2009

Renault have retained both Fernando Alonso and Nelson Piquet jr as their drivers for the 2009 season.

Alonso, who returned to Renault at the end of last year after a difficult season with McLaren, had a strong finish to 2008, winning two of the final four races and ending the season with a podium in Brazil.

He has constantly been linked with moves to Ferrari, BMW and Honda. However, both Ferrari and BMW have opted to keep their drivers for next year, meaning Alonso didn't have much of an option but to stay with the French-based squad.

Ferrari Will Rule Forever!!!

Let me be the first to predict 2009:

Ferrari will retain WCC trophy

Kimi will bounce back and have a tough three way fight between him, lewis and alonso!

P.S. Already ordered by 2008 Ferrari limited edition WCC Champions t shirt from ferraristore.com if anyone interested. 32euros.

Yes, 2009 will be a Ferrari year again!

For WDC, there will be close fight between Kimi, Massa, Hammy and Alonso!
The underdogs would be Kubica, Vettel and Glock!

Will be a very exciting season for sure!

The last bit was also interesting, engines now have to last 3 races ! A far cry from the days of 'qualifying engines' & 'qualifying tires'...

What with all the emphasis on efficiency & stuff, could we have a turbo-comeback as a means of heat recovery from the exhaust ?

F1 is getting sicker by the days!

I miss those Ferrari V12s! Now the FIA is talking about a standard engine as well for 2010.

My prediction for 2009:

Force India takes pole position in the Qualifying session atleast in 5 races. Maybe even win a race or two cheers:

I miss Schumacher though. F1 is not so fun without The God.

Dude, reality check required!

Hopes are always with force india, but predictions are a little more scientific

Yes, True, if they reduce the race length also the next year, there's no 1 in the Formula.

Force India, its time it showed its force. Its become like a bee without a sting and all smoke no fire. Mr VJM please do something the coming year.

Schumi was so much fun, and theres no magic in F1 without him.

i do not agree with you on the above 2

This is Force Indias 1st year in F1. Give them atleast 2 years to get some decent results. VJM took over a team who was in essence 2 seasons behind the leaders, technology and knowhow wise. He has invested lots of money and technology and i expect results from the next season.

The final F1 race in Sa Paoulo was a actuall cliffhanger. Things were decded in the last few seconds of the year. It can't get better than that.

ANd trust this, Lewis Hamilton has wonderful chances to beat Shumis record.

Cheers,
AC

Yes he may have (although in my mind, you are the king of wishful thinking).
However, schumi will always be schumi no matter what in the same way as senna, hill or hakkinen were. They are all legends on their own right. Lewis may break a record, but not replace the icon!
P.S. Pavan said there's no magic without schumi, not that no one can break his record.
