After a long gap, got to see the motogp race. What a fantastic race at the german circuit. The beginning was marred with a horrible crash of Randy De Puniet. And, i had no doubt whatsoever with Rossi in pole position would win with ease.

But, it did not happen that way with Lorenzo and Stoner breathing down his neck all through the race with Stoner leading for quite a number of laps then the doctor in his inimitable style did a late braking maneavour to overtake him to stay on as the leader till the end.

Felt sorry for stoner as he had some breaking issue which took him down to 4th position from 1st.

Overall, it was a race between only 4 ( Rossi, Lorenzo,Stoner and Pedrosa) while the rest to the pack was not even seen in the camera angle.

The Doctor took his 101th title and he continues to rule

Donington Park is a playground for Fiat Yamahas and the order of finish i predict is:
1.Rossi
2.Lorenzo
3.Stoner

Always hard to bet against Rossi for a race win especially at Donington ! I'd go for Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

I mean the finish was like dayyum, both of them were wheelie'in the nuts off the bikes. This is turning really really interesting.

expect stoner to do well here. he won the last two doningtons convincingly. rossi as usual will be up there and THE man to beat. also i feel pedrosa is srtonger than lorenzo. at least this was the status yesterday during practice.
this is one evil weekend as there are all three races: formula 1, motogp and WSBK. i am in big trouble as to which to watch. mostly will skip formula 1 lol.

A very topsy turvy race ! Dovizioso, Colin Edwards & Randy De Puniet, who would have even imagined that as the top 3 before the start of the race ! Rossi still well ahead in the Championship points though by finishing 5th and best of the rest of the title contenders !

MotoGP started after the F1 race was over. (at around 7:45)
Crazy race, and stupid tyre choice from Ducatis.

Rossi should have left dovi ahead as his guinea pig in those varying conditions. Nonetheless good performance to comback from a crash and extend the championship lead to 25 points.

Was an eventful race. But, for me the best ride was by Colin. Andrea also thoroughly deserved the victory. The way he was doin a Vale on Vale was amazing, brought back memories of Vale riding for the HRC. Randy DePuniet also rode well, his fight with Dani and Colin was really worth watching.
Vale also made a good recovery finishing at 5th after falling to 11th. Was disappointing to see Jorge lose his front and end up as DNF.

Casey is not participating in the next three races of MotoGp due to health Issues, and Mika Kallio from Pramac racing takes his place along side Nicky Hayden.
