Sohail Sir, I too wish that the single tyre rule makes the field more competative. But, F1 has given some lessons. But again, motogp is a different game right? So, we shouldn't stop hoping!

With one tyre this season, it should be a level playing field (hopefully)
Definitely, tech should not decide the winner. The rider should.

My prediction, Stoner on pole.
Rossi wins the race, with Stoner second, third will be either of the Suzukis.

Hope Hayden can have a good race, being so far behind Stoner must be pretty tough for him. Dont quite know how Pedrosa will fare, not having done much during practice. Also hope Honda has a competitive bike this year.

So bring it on!

Cheers,
Hiren

Looks like Star Sports will not air motogp. So, only on Ten Sports.

For Qatar GP, Casey is a hot favorite to take pole, Vale to take the chequered flag first.

Ten Sports is a shade better than star, with lesser number of commercial breaks.

Hope to see a good battle between vale and casey.

You are right, last year I used to watch the races on Ten Sports. Am surprised Star Sports is not covering the sport.

Cheers

Am not sure how many people, who are fans of MotoGP and watch the races live, get only ESPN-STAR SPORTS and do not get TEN SPORTS.

I'm one of them.

If you'd like to petition ESPN-STAR SPORTS to reinstate live coverage of MotoGP, please write to them at Feedback | espnstar.com

I did.

Cheers,

motogp 2009 is go! FP are underway and Casey has set the pace in FP1 followed by Valentino. The best part in FP1 was Marco qualifying in the top 10. Looks like Marco really wants to show the capabilities of the Marco of yore, too early though!

Hot happening of the weekend is that Vale and Sete are willing to end their 'ah so' love story which started at the Qatar GP itself in 2004. Talk about night races cooling things down..

Edit: I read that Neo Sports will also air motogp in India, but the TV Schedule on their website shows nothing about motogp.

What an unanimous support for " The Doctor" on the poll. I can't wait to see him top the championship points yet again
