Can't count out Jorge for clinching a home victory! Can't count out Vale for clinching any circuit victory! Can't count out Casey on his current form!

Talking about JLo and his home track. Here's somethin interesting...

What a race!! I have been following MOTO Gp for a while now, I guess from the very first days of cable tv and star sports hitting our televison screens.

Never seen such a HEAD to HEAD battle!!

ROSSI is GOD!! Lorenzo should not feel bad about it,he was beaten by non other but the best.

He took the best out of Rossi, I guess no one else could do this.

Lorenzo is for sure the next Rossi in the making.

Cheers
Shrey

Boy oh boy! I don't have words to describe it. Caught the last 5 laps and I can tell you I would have been regretting had I missed them. What an exhibition of hard racing by Rossi and Lorenzo! Team orders anyone? I guess no one can say anything like that for these two. They almost took out each other in the last few laps.

It reminded me of the Montoya-Andretti duel a few years ago at the Michigan 500. I guess these two instances have been the ultimate racing experiences for me so far.

PS: Check put the points tally. Rossi/Lorenzo/Stoner on the same points (106). What a season this is turning out to be!

PPS: Oh and just one more to go for "The Doctor" to make a 100 wins in Moto GP.

This IS racing. How many times did the lead change hands in the last lap alone?
Overtaking Lorenzo at the penultimate corner of the last lap, Rossi's rear was sliding and his front lifts off.
"I didn't expect him to pass me in the last corner. I should have closed the line."
Jorge, You have my respect. But, this is what makes him the best racer on two wheels EVER!

I would say the best MOTOGP race of 2009 - right down to the wire. Reminds us of so many duels Rossi has had - Biaggi, Gibernau, Capirossi, Stoner and now Lorenzo.

When Rossi was tailing Lorenzo in the latter half of the race, he was keeping something in his armoury for the final attack. He probably didn't know Lorenzo was doing the same. Lorenzo really rode like the devil today, and taking him in the final corner was proper Rossi-esqe. Well done Lorenzo.

Now Jorge, Vale and Casey are tied at 106 points with 2 race wins each... WOW!

Todays race reminds so much of the 2002-03 season races characterized by the 990s sliding their way to FL. This race is one more proper keeper. Got to have a copy of this race.

Again like in his golden days with the HRC, Vale dogged Jorge till the final laps to pressurize him, almost succeeded, but Jorge had other ideas. After turn 10 on the final lap, I thought Jorge has this in the bag.
But, the legend still had some aces, how many such close overtakin moves do we see, specially from the outside line (Common! Laguna Seca is pre historic now! )? Vale will definitely cherish this as one of his best races.

It was good to see both the Fiat Yamaha riders in good terms on the podium. Specially with trillions of rumours floating about the situation between them worsening.

Rossi still has a lot of juice left in him to take the race upto the final corner , WOW, i think the best race after Laguna seca. I agree to everybody's post made on the last race.

Thank You Rossi & Lorenzo for giving us a wonderful race evening.

My sister was reluctantly watching the race, she hardly has any stomach for racing sports. But seeing the last three laps she went berserk. She enjoyed it whole-heartedly and promises to watch many more MotoGPs.
Now, this is testimony to the fact that yesterday's race was simply sensational. Credit to both Lorenzo and Rossi for treating us all with superlative racing. Hell, even the 3rd 4th fight went to the wire between Stoner and Davidiozo.
Somewhere, I knew Rossi would nick it in the last lap, he always does that, doesn't he? He is still the baap!
