Montoya moments. By the way, this user's channel has some stunning on boards! Watch them before FOM takes it down.

This YouTube user has some cool F1 video excerpts for those interested in the machines behind the men...

YouTube - YellowbirdRS's Channel

Sigh, this is the kind of F1 coverage some people get, & what do we get (?) - 24-hrs cricket (on 2, 24-hrs channels no less) & the rambling Steve Slater !?! With the 2010 season less than a fortnight away, one would think the so-called sports channels would start showing us something related to F1 !?!

P.S. - In the F60 Rob Smedley interview, can somebody translate the part where he shows the tiny lever on the floor of the car, beside the driver ?

Someone had posted links to all the races of the season for 5-6 seasons but I can't seem to find the thread. Anyone knows? Also can someone tell me where I can download the episodes of Overhaulin and other similar programmes?

Re: F1 Videos - The Official Thread

Came across this 2-part YouTube video on the development of the short-lived Cosworth GBA F1 turbo engine...

Came across this on GPUpdate

Piquet on-board at Detroit - GPUpdate.net

I think this is one of those turbo-era cars. 1200HP and probably half the down-force of what you have today. Must be a real challenge to drive one of those on the edge!

The Flying Lap - F1 podcasts

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share about this awesome F1 show by Peter Windsor. It is an internet show available as podcasts in itunes store and in youtube. Peter is a F1 journalist for more than 3 decades and he often invites exclusive guests, both drivers and engineers from different teams (F1, Gp2, Gp3 etc). The show usually comprises of technical discussions on cars, driving styles and Grand prix debrief and previews.

You can also watch it live and ask questions in the SMIBS TV website.

Timing: Wednesdays - 19.00 UK time.

Here is a link for the Canadian GP preview.

Likes:
1. Neither Skysports F1 show or BBC F1 forum discusses these many technical details on the cars. So it is a great show for knowing the cars better.
2. Exclusive interviews with drivers and engineers, you can send your questions while watching live.
3. Free Access .

Dislikes:
1. Peter is an Aussie and has a slight bias for Mark, especially in the Monaco Gp debrief. (I know i am nitpicking).

This show helps me get my weekly F1 dose and to learn more about the sport. Hope you guys will love it as well .

Cheers

PS: Yay, My first post in this awesome Forum!

Great videos without a doubt. The look on Mika's face after Michael's morale shattering lap was priceless. Never surprised this man has too many enemies on the grid

The sense of speed watching the F1 cars during the V10 days is way faster and thrilling than the endurance run these days. Lets not even speak about the awesome music of the V10s, now that we are talking about V6 TC'ed engines coming soon.
