it really depends on exactly what your looking for..
formula1.com is nice sites to start, they have a hall of fame section
to find write-ups about something in particular.. you could do a google search

gr8guzz: if you want to read more history/stats Forix is a great site altho its become a paysite now I think....
grandprix.com is good...formula1.com is okay...live timing is its best feature
If you really want to know in detail go out and search stuff as hatari said..you will find plenty of sites.
f1rejects.com - gives you biographies of drivers who failed in F1 :-)
