Rossi Rules!!!

man what a race..with all those fans arnd, he HAD to win this one. even the tho' start was not a perfect one, he managed to regain 1st within the 1st lap. It was sad to see Sete crashing out otherwise we could have seen a battler btw rossi, biaggi and sete. Anyways, looks like the King of MotoGP will regain the crown this year too

Absolutely!!! Yes, he isn't having it as easy as when he was with Repsol but, a win is a win.

The thing with Rossi is that he gives the other riders a false hope by backing out a bit in between, and settling in 2nd place. With less than 10 laps to go, he starts pressurising the guy in front and by the last lap, he's already overtaken him and preparing for a victory.

The others can have better bikes but, as long as Rossi has his riding skill with him, nobody can even come close.

Sete has completely lost it this season. He no longer has that fighting instinct, we saw in 2004.

What a day for Italy. 3 Italian riders and 1 Italian bike on the podium and that too in an Italian GP.

Rossi is having the run of his life. What an enthralling race,a perfect start(not as perfect as his other starts), and a perfect first lap..regaining the position that belonged to him... Gibernau unlucky this time..what a crash!!. I still cannot forget the battle between them at the Australian G.P last season.

I'm a big Rossi fan, but I'm getting a little suspicious.

After the Chinese race, someone mentioned (crash.net i think) that rossi's tyres were covered up as soon as the race was over.

Why do that? Most of the field use Michelin(Including Biaggi and Sete).

The same thing happened today as well at the 'Parc Ferme'

As soon as Rossi rode in, his tyres were covered up.

Whats going on

Is michelin giving different tyres to different teams?

Is that allowed? It wouldn't be fair if they gava all the latest developments only to one team...

Darn! I missed most of the race... but, did catch the part where Sete crashes out.. Rossi was in the lead that time too. Now i must watch the repeat telecast. I don't think anyone else would come close to Rossi this season either. Rossi i'm pretty sure will retain the crown.

Are you sure?

Rossi came into the pits last, and while he was hugging various people, i could see his and Biaggi's rear tyres.

Only Rossi's were covered.

Maybe they covered Biaggi's later.

I'll try to catch a re-telecast...

In any case, whats the deal with covering tyres after the race??

the tyre company would like to do research on the tyres after they endured the Race distance

and they want to retain the Heat into the tyres to do a meaningful research ....
all three bikes were covered with tyre warmers
