So kindly think about that before saying "fitness, speed, do poorly"

There are lots and lots of examples if you are not aware.
Please keep in mind he is a 7 time world champion and probably the only driver to win races and a championship with "not" the best car on track.

He might or might not come out of retirement, however its simply too disrespectful to say such things about Michael Schumacher, who has nothing left to prove in F1.

He is a living legend, so please show a bit more respect before putting comments like that.

Yes, I'm a Michael Schumacher fan.
Chill out man! I'm not having a go at Schumacher but I'm saying F1 is much too demanding for anyone to come in if their fitness is below par or after a long break

And why is it disrespectful to say he's unfit? Its absolutely normal for sportsmen to let their fitness level fall after retiring since they don't need it anymore. And the odd testing run doesn't give him sufficient familiarity with the new car which means he'll take a few races to get used to it. Massa will probably be back soon anyway so it doesn't really make sense for this to happen (except maybe to thrill some fans and get the tifosi cheering).

So kindly take time to understand my post before you reply.

I heard that Schumi had a motorcycle accident in January/February and is still not 100%. So going back in F1 may not be wise, much as I love and respect him. Also, looks like Massa's eye is not damaged, so he should make a full recovery.

Schumacher won't race, Gene to test

"Comments by Michael Schumacher's official spokesperson caused a stir on Tuesday, but both his manager and the seven-time World Champion himself insist he will not be stepping into injured Felipe Massa's Ferrari cockpit."
So forget MS back in Ferrari

"Doctor and team encouraged by Massa recovery"

"Ferrari on Tuesday reported more good news regarding Felipe Massa's rate of recovery."

So for me, just want Massa to back in Ferrari, There are 20 odd days to next GP. So Gene can make it for one and by that time Massa will be back alright

Cheers!

There is too much of speculation around the vacant seat at Ferrari. The first one happens to be that of Schumi, then there was Alonso (as Renault is suspended from next race due to loose wheel incident at Hungarian GP.

Then, there are some new rumors about Sebastien Bourdais who was recently fired by Torro Rosso and his agent happens to the same person who manages Massa as well.

And top it all, there are some hypothetical situations as well. Villeneuve name to Ferrari.

There is far too much speculation around the vacant seat and we have to wait for the official news from Ferrari F1 team.

I cant imagine anyone else driving Massa's F60.
That said, the person taking-over (temporarily) should have sufficient technical knowledge to help test new parts and give feedback to the team. This is no place for someone new to learn the 2009 F60.

So its down to the F60 testers and i will be devastated if it aint them.

Chances of Michael making a return to F1 for this season is difficult!

But, you never know what Ferrari might be upto.

Sir sarcasm will not make your statement correct.

Again I'm trying to state the fact one by one.
Why ? They are facts and so its undeniable.

However you are speculating about a man who is the absolute best the sport has ever seen and has broken every record there is.

I have not intention to start a cat fight over this.
I'm trying to respect the rules of the forum and will not have any further comments on this.

Thanks.

Getting back on topic :

Micheal coming back, its highly unlikely.
Maybe Alonso will jump ship again it pure speculation.

Schumi is a part of Ferrari in their day to day activity, and him not being familiar with the present car is a joke.

Speculations are really rife saying he might just take the seat temporarily

Lets wait and watch.

And all wishes to Massa for a speedy recovery

It could be 'Vitantonio Liuzzi' from his ForceIndia testing duties.

??? Pretty sure he can start from the back or start from the pitlane. Hasn't it ever happened before? Isin't that how Vettel made his debut.

Yes it can happen, but here Ferrari put their sentiments and priority for injured Massa. That's a true spirited team work

Cheers!

currently even Robert Kubica is been linked to Massa's vacant seat as BMW has pulled out of F1. Schumy has became old now don't expect him to show fireworks like he use to demonstrate before. its better we see someone fresh in F60. wonder how alonso would drive that car ? won't be surprised if he starts winning in that F60
