Where did Subaru Impreza go from WRC

Hey, I just watched the Top Gear and saw Kim driving an awesome lap in his Sunaru Impreza. I went to the WRC website and was amazed to find out that they are no longer participating in the WRC. Does anyone has any idea. The sport is now dmoinated by Citroen.

This was pretty long back. Hated seeing them go but I guess there must have been a thread on it when it happened.
