This one's become my favourite rally.
The speeds, the crests, the jumps, 200 kph on gravel.

This year it was filled with some F1 celebrities including Sebastian Vettel who'd come to see his first live rally since they're on their summer break.

And here's how Kimi Raikkonen finished his excellent drive with the Punto Abarth in the Rally 2000 class.

After 5 straight wins in the first part of the season, Sebasian Loeb's 3 continuous DNFs (almost) has resulted in Mikko Hirvonen (Ford's #1 driver) lead the championship and the rally right from day1. Inspite of Loeb throwing everything he had in his sleeve, Hirvonen finished at the top step with Loeb in second followed by Jari Matti Latvala of Ford.

My favourite moment of this year's rally is Evgeny Novikov's full throttle jump that got almost got the car vertical to the surface. For a moment he sees nothing but the sky. Imagine that!

Incredibly, there were three (IIRC) crashes at that spot including JWRC drivers and five or six guys who nearly went off there. Its one tough corner if you're on the limit.

And this was Novikov with another big incident but still continued on with his door opening on every right turn .

Yes, it was Mads Osberg and one other guy who went off at the same point.
But, Kimi was spectacular.
