Kubica to join Renault??

Robert Kubica apparently will replace Fernando Alonso at Renault in 2010, according to French daily Le Figaro.
Pole Kubica and Renault have reached an agreement and are only awaiting confirmation to make the deal official from the driver's current Formula One team BMW Sauber, the report said.
Kubica, 24 finished fourth in the drivers' world championship last year, securing his only grand prix win in Canada.
Renault, who need a replacement for Ferrari-bound Spaniard Alonso, were unavailable for comment.

Toyota f1 boss John Howett has officially said that they have "lost" Kubica , Renault is most likely to have "won" him .

I think its a wrong move for a driver that is in the league of Hamilton and Alonso.
But, with Alonso filling a ferrari's seat and Hamilton #1 in Mclaren, he's got nowhere to go.
If the proposed 3 car team was allowed, then he would have had a chance at the fastest cars that he rightfully deserves.
I'm sorry for him. Renault is a formality as of now.

Good for both of them. I still feel hurt that Ferrari have decided to hire the 'burro'

Who is Renault's main sponsor after ING backed out? Kubica is a good driver, definitely deserves better machinery. Who knows, what the new teams bring with them. There could definitely be some surprises.
