This was the 1998 British GP, an eventful rain affected race.

Good initiative of Star Sports to do this I think. Atleast we F1 lovers will have something to look forward to on television in the off season times. Oct/Nov to March are really boring times. I wonder if they will air these alternate Sundays like race weekends or will they have any other time schedule.

Looking forward to see some good old Senna/ Prost battles and the young Schumi days.

Airs on 9-Nov

Well, during the closing stages of today's race the commentator Steve Slater mentioned that the program will begin on 9-Nov. But the espnstar tv listing shows only Engine Block scheduled for that day

Maybe the schedule isn't updated yet. Either way, a good initiative during the winter break. On a side note, it sucks that the season's over, doesn't it? March 2010 feels ages away :(

I sure will watch some of the Alain Prost races. Wish they would show the old MotoGP races too!

During the Abu Dhabi GP, it was mentioned that the air of classic races wstarts from 9th November, 2009.

The 1st race would be 1994 british gp if i remember correctly. The only problem was that they showed the air time for Hong Kong, @ 11 pm. No air time for India was shown.

We can only hope it will air here on 9th, sometime around Engine Block show. Fingers Crossed.

But there is nothing mentioned related to F1 in the TV listings on 9th November. If someone has the timings let us all know.
