Re: Updates on the Indian F1 track (Buddh International Circuit)

I want my book my tickets but, I've also applied to be a Track Marshal.

All those who have applied too, what are you doing about tickets? If we do end up being Marshals, we wouldn't need tickets. However, if we wait till the Marshal thingy is clear and tickets sell out by then, we'll be in no man's land.

What to do?!

Natural Stand is Rs.2,500

Premium Stand is Rs.12,500
Main Grand Stand is Rs.35,000

Same case here. Not just tickets for the race, we have to book flight tickets and accommodation. Each passing day it's only going to get harder.
I think race tickets even if we buy now, we can find some takers later if we don't need them. But the problem is flight tickets and accommodation.

Re: Updates on the Indian F1 track (Buddh International Circuit)

Any guess on how soon the tickets will sell out? 1 lac seats is not a big number for an F1 race, specially for India!

Looks like the Premium stand is going to have the best views from what I see from the map. Another reason is that it is the second most expensive ticket for the race

Re: Updates on the Indian F1 track (Buddh International Circuit)

Are there no paddock tickets available for this race? And is the F1 rocks included in the main ticket?

No, F1 rocks tickets are not included in the F1 GP ticket. You need to visit http://www.ticketgenie.in/TG/Common....e&engine=false to book your tickets for Metallica. The concert is on Friday, so be prepared to miss Practice session 2 , as the concert entry starts at 4 and its on the other end of the town.

Thanks for the info! The prices look reasonable for the concert. Although I thought it would be something like Singapore race where everything is held in the same area.

I think it would be a good idea to visit on Friday when the crowd is less and there are more chances of getting autographs.
I just hope the tickets won't sell out soon. I need a few days to plan my schedule for the race

Re: Updates on the Indian F1 track (Buddh International Circuit)

Enjoy guys. For those of you going for the first time, it will be an experience of life to see and hear these machines. The doppler effect on straight aways is just stunning.

It will be great to have track days at this facility. It is too far for me but for enthusiasts and wanna-be racers in that area, it should be a blast.

From Sholavaram days to a real world class F1 facility...India has indeed come a long way. Would love to see MotoGP / WSBK events on this track. Is the FIM homologation planned for these events? I read somewhere that it was in the works.

Krishna
