I guess 2006 Brazil still holds the record as the most viewed Formula One race ever. Bahrain, 2010 will surely take it down.

Mark my words, 2010 is going to make for an epic battle! Schumy + Brawn versus Fonso + Ferrari versus Hamilton + Mclaren versus Vettel + Red Bull. Stuff made of dreams, I can hardly wait for March!

More than anything, and like many of you, I am waiting to see Schumy back on the track.

+1 to this. Add to it the internal rivalries in each team. Fonso vs Massa, Hami vs Button.

Let the games begin!

Defenitely Schumi will heat up F1. But isn't it likely that he be a bit out of touch and will take some time to regain his form, if at all he can to the level of 2005/2006? I feel its like a fresh innings and that too after a big break. So he will begin like any other driver. It all depends on how fast the cars can be driven with such a heavy load of fuel. I will wait for the first testing results of the 2010 season.
Watchout for Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso.

Laguna Seca. I bet that name gives racers goosebumps.
It'll be awesome to see how the F1 cars handle the corkscrew. I guess we'll have to wait till 2011 or later for it though.

Cannot wait for the season to begin too!
The best part advantage or disadvantage to Schumi - it will be a level playing field, this will be a brand new car for everybody with re-fueling banned.
IMO with the natural/raw talent Schumi has - advantage KING SHUMI!!
The guys with the smooth racing style will have an advantage IMO as they will be able to take care of their tyres/make them last longer/better.
What is the qualifying format guys? Any changes, with the new rules?
Cheers!

Formatted the calendar for better reference
Season Starting Smashing Bahrain F1-2010 with Schumi-f1.jpg

Changes in the Calendar compared to 2009
1) Bahrain GP moves to back to be the season opener.
2) Montreal is back after a year (Schumi has 7 top finishes in this circuit, may be time for 8th )
3) It will be Hockenheim in Germany
4) South Korea will be a new addition, 5.4km track, designed by Hermann Tilke a typical twisty-curvy circuit.
5) Donington Park will not repalce Silverstone.
6) Fuji also fails to replace Suzuka
