Well....we have all been hearing this speculation snce a long time, but I hope the first bit does not turn out to be true. If Kimi goes to Ferrari that will be a big loss for MacLaren, and I am sure that Kimi will have learnt from Jenson Button's mistake, and will wait to see how things shape up for Ferrari next year, before saying Yes to them. Also, maybe McLaren might take Kimi to the top step of the driver's championship next year, and I am hopeful about that.

But yes, it will be nice to see "THE DOCTOR" in F1, though it will mean a lot of money loss for the FIM
...let's see....

Again all these are just speculations

Firstly Kimi will only come when Micheal goes! Micheal has life time contract with Ferrari and has said that he will drive till he is competitive. So that means that he can reitre when every he wants! That doesnot mean that he has to retire by 2007! Also Fiat in huge loss and is bough or being bought by GM, who dont encourage wasting money in F1 so they may withdraw Ferrari from there!

Wishful thinking, I'd say...

you are totally wrong in both statements

Micheal has contract with Ferrari till end of 2006 with an option to extend the contract
http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns15458.html

from the article
Quote:
Schumacher's current contract with Ferrari runs out at the end of 2006
as for GM owning FIAT
http://www.autointell-news.com/News-...b-16-05-p8.htm

GM paid €1.55 billion to get out of master contract

now can you please provide sources about your claims ?

i dont think kimi should move..
when michael retires.. so will the ppl who made ferrari what they are
i.e. ross brawn, paolo martinelli, rory byrne etc

ferrari were in a transitory phase with byrne & martinelli supposed to hand over the ropes to the new guys.. so they were basically overseeing their respective departments rather than sinking their teeth into it

and we can see the results this yr
