I may be wrong to say he should be in GP2 for some more years, but if he does a Kobayashi I will be very happy

Just a week to go. All will be clear by then. I just hope All is Well

Nah. Please do not have Too High hopes with him.

I think Narain was a better choice.

Karun has never really done well in GP2. :(

This is really good news!! Now only if he can somehow manage a win and let the world hear the Indian anthem play!

I'm pretty sure you'll hear the anthem soon. But its more likely to be for the winning constructor

Absolutely! we would have heard it last year, but then there was Kimi.

Karun obviously will not have it easy, driving probably one of the slowest and under developed cars in the field. At least he can try to impress a few people by finishing the race consistently. If he does well reasonably, i think VJM might be tempted to give him a chance next year.

Was proud of Narain Karthikeyan for being the first Indian to make it to f1. Now I am the fan of Karun Chandhok to be the 2nd one to do so.

Till Karun made it to f1 I always though that Indians don't have the genes to compete in tough and highly competitive sports like F1. But that opinion has now changed. It would be a treat to see him win.

i second that! In asia after japan india will be the only country to have more than 1 driver having driven ! and we have a team too( though its actually british and has nothing to do with india other than the owner and the name! )

Congrats to Chandok. Hope he raises his game. He has been in GP2 for over 3 years (?) with hardly anything except the spa win to write about.

Well done Karun. Maybe he can get some experience under HRT and then move on to better teams in the future.

With all the regulation changes and the new points system, it looks like an exciting season ahead.

The new teams are apparently 5 secs a lap slower than the ones at the front.
So, this year is most probably gonna be purely for the experience for KC.

HRT is yet to get the car out on the track, so any expectations from Karun would remain optimistic!

He himself told about not gaining any points during the initial part of the season. I liked that, in a way he is being optimistic to get the car into points - a car which has not seen the track yet.

Keeping aside the patriotic part, my heart is all set for the Master's return.
