The 107% rule?

Todt could bring back the 107% rule | Planet F1 | Formula One | News, Standings, Results, Features, Video

With the new teams being as slow as they are, I wouldn't be surprised if they fall victim to this rule. Unlikely to happen this season though since it needs a unanimous decision from all the teams to happen. On the other hand, it could happen next year.

I am not in support of this rule for this season atleast. With in-season testing being banned, the only way to test the car's components will be on the track in the races.

Though I previously supported Ferrari's view on the Newbies, getting this rule in place would severely restrict the new teams' ability to improve. I am sure that provided the right amount of input, the newbies could be within 2seconds of the leaders by the start of next season.
