Vettel, 2 poles in 3 races. Lead all the three races, but reliability issues made him lose the lead twice. And in the 3rd race, he jumped from #3 to #1 and held on to it until the end.
If not for his reliability issues, he'd be having 3 wins out of 3.
ie 75 points from the first three races
Imagine!

I'm a Schumi fan as well. But, lets be rational here.

Force India is indeed doing well. But , I doubt if they will play the Indian anthem as Force India is registered in UK and not India.

Pretty good race. Looks like the recipe for an exciting Sunday is to make Lewis start somewhere near the back of the field. What a racer!

About the Lewis weave, I don't care what the rules say. He was moving around to break Petrov's tow and Petrov followed. I think even a warning was uncalled for. What is a warning supposed to mean anyway? Would the stewards have penalized Lewis if he did something similar later in the race? Will they penalize him if he does that in a future race?

Webber had a great chance to get a win in the bag, but Vettel won it in the first corner. There was nothing to separate them as far as race pace was concerned.

Not a great fan of Alonso, but what a drive with the damaged gearbox. Had a rare moment of sympathy for Alonso when he retired.

China in two weeks, so we get a breather before donning the rain dance attire again.

Do we expect Schumi to get down dirty tightening wheel nuts for his car every time he races.C'mon guys, Afterall even he's a hardcore racer and luck too plays its part many times.

Agreed he's a LEGEND, but after 4 yrs, making a comeback, 3 races, its not very easy.

Try going to office after 4 months of Holiday.....!
Most of the people have got no clue what they are talking about in this respect. They seem to miss understanding the word 'team'.

How many races did Schumacher do with Ferrari before he won? Ferrari was a desolate team when he arrived. The combination Brawn-Schumacher transformed the cars to make them win, which took time.

It will take time to get the team working as a perfect unit and the team understand where they have to improve the car to make it suitable to Schumacher's driving style.

3 races down, 3 different winners. Interesting start to the season. Finally a victory for Vettel. Great drive by Sutil. He kept a charging Hamilton at bay till the end.

Time is one which is not on Schumi's side. So if your talking 2 to 3years then its going to be difficult for him.

On the other hand.. the competition this year is far more fierce than any of the recent years. Redbull, Mclaren, Ferrari, Renault, Mercedes, RBR renault all good teams. Its not like the old, only 2 constructor fighting for gold days.

Its not that button made alonso blow his engine, alonso had a problem with selector proximity sensor, which went loose because of a missing bolt. I guess alonso showed the whole field what a good driver he is, driving without clutch use for whole race and still overtaking people.
Although you do not engage clutch while up shifting in F1 but it is very much required while downshifting and and on turns ( as now traction control systems are not being used).

His car was selecting a neutral on every downshift, hence engine overrevving under open accelerator pedal, led to too much wear of engine and result everyone knows. But still alonso managed soo many laps and remained a racer throughout.
HATSOFF to him

Actually, he's been out for three years. There is a precedent to this kind of thing. Niki Lauda was out for five years and came back and won the third race of his comeback season.

I'm not saying its the same thing and today's F1 is markedly different from Lauda's era but Schumacher needs to dig deep and raise his game at the moment.

Even Redbull is registered in UK but the Austrian anthem was played as it is owned by a Austrian.

The Anthem to be played depend on which country the winning driver is from not where the car is registered or from which country the owner comes from.

At the upcoming Chinese F1 look out for the flags that are raised at the ceremony and you can match the flags with the driver's nationalities.

Another interesting F1 weekend. Bahrain should really blamed for being a boring battle ground for F1.

A superb 1-2 by the Redbull team and the long awaited win for Vettel. Great show!

Alonso is slowly starting to impress me in that Ferrari. Driving around the track without a clutch is not easy. He did really well, but the Ferrari finally gave up and he lost valuable points.

Massa really needs to up his game if he has to be fighting for championship this season. He looked like he was driving a Ferrari Victoria in the Pacific ocean. Slow and all over the place again and much much slower than his team mate who was driving a broken Ferrari.

Hamilton, really needs a good whack from the drivers. This man should learn what sportsmanship is. Being aggressive is something, but being arrogant and stupid is a different thing. Good for him that he escaped with a warning.

The Mclaren looks only marginally faster than the Mercedes and the Redbull marginally faster than the Ferrari. The Mclaren is still over 0.5 - 0.7 seconds off the pace from the front runners in race pace. Its only going to make an intense development race between the teams when racing returns to Europe.
