just read about it.. and the team bosses + the FIA want it implemented before malaysia..

2 hrs of qualifying doesnt make sense.. its more coverage than a race gets.. theres hardly any motivation for the 1st session.. and teams like minardi hardly get any time to change over to race setup..

lets see what they come up with..

So why not have a gap of half n hour between the 2 sessions. It's really a waste of time watching 2 qualifyings on different days, as the first one is just an obligation.

Someone revert back to the good old qualifying 12 laps per car . I still prefer that one

Cheers

Or stick to the old 12 laps per car rule but let the cars onto the track in order. This way everycar will get the chance to qualify on an empty track that's been laid down with rubber for max grip.

Unless this is done in an orderly manner, we will have 2-3 cars qualifying on the track at the same time which is not acceptable.

Hell ya, Minardi is the one at loss. Imagine this - a poor back of the grid team gets only the time of a pitstop to change to race condition, while a well-funded championship team gets a full 45 minutes to prepare.

Ridiculous

they shud change it..
but shudnt revert back to the old 12 laps..
they need the 'fuel/race setup' factor to mix things up..
