Yesterday it seemed like Steve Slater had a bout of cold and sore throat. But that didn't stop him from dishing out another gem when he said Keke Rosberg posted fastest lap in last year's Singapore GP

Get well soon Steve, and leave the commentary to Karun Chandhok and Gary Anderson

It could be because Steve Slater had a hoarse voice yesterday ,maybe due to a common cold infection. I cannot comprehend what Gary Anderson mumbles anyway.

Very good qualifying session for Ferrari, well done Alonso
This pole position was much needed. The race will be very exciting with the championship battle so fierce now.

Its certainly not dry but a HOT race,

Kobayashi tries to take out MS, but Kobayashi crashes.

Hamilton tries to take out Webber, Hamilton crashes.

Nick Heidfield tries on MS, Heidfield crashes.

Whoa....! Nice race.

Alonso is keeping his cool, But Vettel sure seems confident on taking P1.

Webber is having a great race, but looks like Jenson is going to spoil his party.

Commentary is at its Horrible best. Stewards as usual delaying penalties. Coverage is 100s of feet away from the track.

Alonso wins!
He is now just 11 points behind Webber in WDC. We have a great end coming to the season. Webber maximized his points by getting P3.

Hamilton threw away another good point scoring opportunity.

What a race from Alonso Man of the moment! Absolutely stunning, flawless drive from start to finish! The engine too didn't give up on him even when pushed to the max.

And Vettel drove an awesome drive and kept Alonso at his absolute best. Ultimate racing between both. Webber did well to take advantage of his pitstop and jump the McLarens.

Good for Button to get some useful points and remain a contender for the WDC even though it looks a little far fetched for both the McLarens now in the WDC.

As much as McLaren looked faster during qualifying, they seemed awfully slow to the Ferrari and the Red-Bulls. A lot of work to be done for them to have any chance of winning either of the championship.
Schumi drove a solid race until he came together with Kobayashi.

Massa drove a superb, flawless drive to get a point after starting last of the grid.

Looking forward to Suzuka for an exciting end to the season.

P.S. Did someone notice StarSports telling that the Italian Anthem was being played when it actually was the Spanish Anthem for the winning driver which was being played. They are getting better and better as the season progresses!

Quite an eventful race!
The WDC is looking exciting now!
What exactly happened with Hamilton after he made contact with Webber?

And what's wrong with Star Sports? They cut off the press conference for cricket.

Edit:
Did anyone notice that Alonso got the pole, led the entire race, set the fastest lap time and won the race too!
And this has happened first time since Schumacher's Hungary race in 2004!

Awesome race! Good result for Alonso and Vettel! Flawless! Hamilton and Webber were too ambitious with that move and Hamilton paid the price.

Massa did a good race but he doesn't seem to try hard to overtake. He sits behind others lap after lap. Hurts his team very much. Kubica did excellent overtakes and he was the man of the midfield.

About the commentary the less said the better. They mix up driver names, they miss team radio events and talk total rubbish. Steve is as puzzled most of the times without knowing what to say and what to call. When there was button saying something with Mark ahead of him STAR was trying to interview Trulli or someone in the box and audio shifted there.

This time the track looked relatively darker on many areas and some where very well lit. Any information on why it was like that? I wonder how drivers didn't complain about this situation.

Its evident, that Schumi's car is a LEMON.

Nothing can be done to extract more that what it has to offer right now. I can imagine, if he's driving a car designed for someone else.

With 4 races to go, i've given up hope of seeing Schumi on the Podium even once this season.

Hamilton has this dirty habit of throwing things when he's close to achieving, good if he's like that, i see him the next best aggressive after MS and Webber

Sutil is now 9th as Hulkenburg has also been given a penalty.
Hulkenburg has been given a 20 second penalty for cutting turn 7 on the opening lap of the GP.
