Being the last GP of the season, MSC may see his first podium-less season.

Vettel needs a repeat of 2007 just like what Kimi needed at that time. But only if Alonso puts a wrong foot which is out of odds and Ferrari will play it really safe.

But a used engine for two races could get the white smoke of Alonso's Ferrari in his quest for the WDC???? I hope not.

Will be classic if Vettel wins it, but I definitely donot want MW to get it. Somehow feel he is not worth to be crowned WDC, just like FM. Purely my opinion though.

Cant wait anymore for the weekend.

About MSC, barring his debut season in 92, this will be the first time he failed to win or score a podium finish in his F1 career. Even though a MSC fan, cant be too optimistic too for the record to be maintained.

In FP1, Vettel and Hamilton are fastest. It's been a while since we saw McLarens at the top. This makes things interesting and complicated for the RedBulls.
Pressure is on Webber now, to keep himself close to Vettel. Interestingly Alonso will benefit if Hamilton splits the RedBulls with Vettel leading. Alonso can afford to finish P4 and still become champion as long as Hamilton is ahead of Webber.

Can't wait for the Qualifying and the race!

Agreed this is just practice, but i think McLarens will be closer to Ferrari this time, so if Hamilton can stitch together a good lap tomorrow, race is on.

My bet is that we will not see a RedBull 1-2. Most probably Vettel will win the race but not championship.

FP2 order is Hamilton, Vettel, Alonso, Webber
within less than half a second of each other, Alonso and Webber are apart by a thousandth of a second
Looks like qualifying will have a big impact on who wins the driver's championship

The track was damp during FP1 and the conditions are improving through FP2. It should only get faster with more rubber on the track.

I am sure Redbulls are yet to unleash their pace!

As there is a chance of rain on Race Day, I would like to see Schumi getting his first podium finish of 2010 season; with his mastery is rainy driving & 2-stop strategy.
Will be totally supporting Alonso for driver's championship; though i am a true Schumi fan as he is driving for Ferrari .
