this is sad news indeed..
first comes the pullout from F1.. now the possibilty of this ?
the people at ford dont seem to be interested in pursuing excellence at motorsport

what a pity

Skoda did only a limited number of rounds this season and they were not competing for the WRC manufacturers points as they did not intend to do the whole season, they were just seeing how the car wuld perform this year and make a decision about next year, well they did finish 6th in Finland, and did decently on the other events, so they might consider doing a whole season next year

Quite a difference from when Citreon did the same thing. They came out and won most of the rally they took part in before joining the WRC the following year.

Now that Ford has pulled out of F1, maybe their WRC teams will get an extra cash boost??? what say?

Ford is selling Cosworth, who used to prepare engines for their F1 and WRC cars. If this news is correct, I suspect Ford will pull out of WRC as well.
