I am putting together my bit on the Road trip to Goa. Should be there in a few days.

@mobike008
Sorry, missed that part (Out of sheer excitement though)
Basically from Mumbai, still getting used to Pune. Another one from IT sector.

I currently have an one and half year old Maruti Suzuki Ritz (Vxi ABS), has clocked more than 28k. Thats my first car. And boy I love her!

Hi Sridhar,
consider these:

1. Its a good car, if you want a engine matching swift and dont like swifts exterior. well then Ritz is a good option.
2. Its good on pick up and FE. I have got an average of 13.75 (Min 10.5 and Max 15.76). Guess, its a decent average.
3. And then its a Maruti, so being a maruti car it has its own advantages and disadvantages. The rattles will eventually start at some point of time. The service/ spare cost is less, and ample service station.
4. The K12 engine is quite silent per the Maruti standard. Its quite responsive, unless the car is loaded full. It will deliver power when you ask for it, especially in second and third gear.
5. The headroom is ample and gives you a feel of big car.

There are a few things which I dislike a bit.

1. Boot space is minimal. You dont really need the boot in your daily office to home commute, but then you really really fill it when you go for a long drive. If you have couple of big bags, well that’s all you can put in!
2. Five people can fit in, but it’s a bit cramped at the rear for three people. and you really have put the pedal down if u want a good acceleration.
3. Rear seats are stiff. I haven’t been at that place for a long, but then you fill the bumps as they are. And the stiff seats don’t make it comfortable.

I would suggest you have a look at Figo once. It’s a good car, with big boot space. And do go for ABS. It’s a life saver when you need it.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any additional inputs.

Welcome onboard nacd80.Enjoy every moment spent here.Also belated anniversary wishes.Which color is your ritz?Start a LT review of your ritz and also Goa travelogue.
