WOAAA !!!!Now that was 1 helluva intro man . Hey EL ALEF , welcome to Team-bhp , have a gr8 stay . Been a long time since i read such a intro by sum 1 on the forum ! Now this makes me put up my intro lol , its quite late though but i hadnt put 1 up when i joined the forum !

Welcome aboard, I am sure you will enjoy your stay here.

I am originally from India, from the past 7 years I have been living 30 minutes away from the Mexican border- San Diego. I ride a Honda VFR Interceptor, I go out on rides in the Southern California region. I have been to Tijuana a couple times, but not on my bike.

Do you recommend any good/scenic rides down south?

I would strongly recommend you going to "La Rumorosa" (rumor road), which is between Tijuana and Mexicali, is a road full of downhill curves (get ur brakes tuned up) with lots of scenary (actually is the same road that crosses the country from the norho all the way down to Chiapas, known as the International Road). Ask anyone in SD about La Rumorosa, they'd tell you is a beautiful road, although quite dangerous and tricky, there strong winds (hence its name, rumorosa means whistling wind). I've been there by car, and I guess going on by bike you have to be extra careful on the turns... It's very fun to see cars all the way up, where you'll be in about 15 or 20 minutes when you start at the bottom (if you are going the other way, from Mexicali to Tijuana). Nice write up, though I did think you were a bit er...accident prone. On the other hand, there seem to be as many maniacs in Mexico as there are in India. I guess the difference is that we EXPECT others to drive irrationally (and hence have fewer accidents?).
