Bangladeshi Connection

Hello everyone,

I've been on TBHP for quite a while but never got to post here.

My name is Akbar. I am a an automotive enthusiast from Bangladesh. I have a love for all cars but I do admit i have a special soft spot for classics. I drive a 1977 Fiat X1/9 (With a Toyota 4E-FTE installed), which I recently got restored at Chargerman's place (Some of you may know him, he's been a member here for years). I also have got a 2002 Lexus LS430, 2005 Toyota Prado TX and a 2006 Toyota Premio F. I've always been really interested about what's been happening motor-wise in our neighboring country, India. Always wanted to learn more about the automotive sector in India.

Anyways, really happy to be a part of TBHP and hello to you all!

A car-enthusiast from Bangladesh. Looks like you'd have a lot to share with us. Several people here would love to hear, not only about the auto-market in B'desh, but also your street & travel experiences. You could give us a fresh perspective, altogether.

Can you tell us more about road networks in Bangladesh?

Are Indian motorists allowed to drive through Bangladesh, the way the buses do the Calcutta-Dacca & Dacca-Agartala sectors?
