I just discovered and joined this forum and its good to be here. I like cars of course, and also like doing research on the economics of cars and the automobile market I'm an environmental and transport economist by training, just finished my phd and now work in Delhi.

Once upon a time I used to be a mechanical engineer - and still keep abreast of developments in the fuels side. Would love to discuss with those of you interested in biofuels, electrics and hybrids and when we might see more of those in India.

Hope to learn a lot from you guys and share experiences driving out of Delhi every chance I get!

Indeed pleasure having such knowledgeable people contributing to this forum. Am sure - we all have many take-aways from you.

It will be really good to see some constructive discussions in the near future on the biofuels and transport economics - for all we know - we may create a spark for next revolution in the automobile industry.
