Hello all! Very excited that this is my first posting at TeamBHP.

Firstly you must be wondering about the introductory title and what is it all about. Let me explain-

I have always been interested in cars. My interest in automobiles was spotted by my then fiance now hubby when I spotted a BMW 7 Series passing us and his expression was "wow really do you know that car? Now I am sure I made the right decision to marry you", hehe.

Actually a big pat goes to my brother who is a complete auto freak and would keep bombarding me and all in the family with his gyaan and auto magazines hence I had a decent knowledge about cars and brands.

Soon after marriage, my husband (another auto enthusiast) got me to learn driving and yes introduced me to TBHP as well.

Hearing him quote it for all things auto and otherwise from TeamBHP, slowly but surely it got me interested as well to get in and read up from the various forums.

At one point I thought of taking the plunge and jumping into the members ring and thus tried for the membership (which I heard was a very rigours task by itself).

I wondered for a moment- why should I be taken into the group of pure auto enthusiasts? but nevertheless gave a try and thanks to the senior folks I am in!

A HR professional and a keen interest in interior designing, I'm am really excited about travelling and visiting new places will try to make the most of the info and advice in this forum and hopefully contribute my bit as well!

Nice story there and I am sure you are going to have a nice time here.
Whenever I talk about T-BHP, my wife gives me a glare, but once I hand her a travelouge to read out(btw she is a travel & photography freak), she would go praises for it and the pics.

I know she slimly likes it

Thank you for the welcome. As I mentioned earlier I love reading up the travelogue section and the beautiful pics posted by members. Also a small tip, get your better half on board TeamBHP and see the glares vanish.

Thanks. Getting into TeamBHP and the user name (since I could recognize those cars well) was suggested by my hubby (hence credits to him in the title of this post) also guiding me with other functionalities (quotes etc) while replying.

Thanks for your kind words. Though I am educated about cars, it is the drives in these to various destination that interests me a lot (good that my partner shares the same interest).
Surely looking forward to hear and contribute my bit in this forum!

Travelogues are section that you would be very interested in.
There are amazing folks who travel and are expert photographers who make the places they covered come alive to us.
And then we have great HVK who can guide you to any of these places. (Whenever and wherever you are!)

Yes indeed the travelogues section is one which I am getting glued to start with and quite a favourite already.

So much to read and see, an ocean of knowledge and loads of learning from others travels.

Great to know of such experts who are of help to budding travellers like us!

We are already planning our next outing after reading up some of the destinations.

SO MANY hidden places just around Bangalore itself. If you have not covered them,
I would suggest get a good camera and start exploring!

Though I drive now, I still like to be driven around by my official driver (you know who right ). If you both are travel bugs then those nice pics in the Travelogue section will drive her to the forum! Try that!

A typical wish
She is for sure a travel bug but she always needs the "official driver"
