Vanakkam from a chennaite

Hi Fellow Members.
A big Vanakkam from Chennaite. I am Balaji residing in chennai. Before getting into my introduction, I should say I hold an unique distinction. How? Yes, I was already a member from way back 2008 (My last visit : 14th March 2008 at 23:01). After that I forgot my user id, password and email with which i got registered. I was struggling from 2010 (yes, this was the time I thought of buying a new car) to become a member as I forgot that I was already a member. Now today, few minutes back I recollected my details and here I am.
All these years I come here as a non-member and read through various posts for continuous hours. I would be willing to ask some info on that thread or would be having the info to reply on that thread but as a non-member could not. Now after all these, I am able to recollect my details and finally YES!

Below are my details,
bikes owned : Pulsar 180 DTS-i, Currently Thunderbird Twinspark
car owned : Getz Gls (2005), Currently Beat Diesel (LS)

Of course, my elder brother owned a Yamaha RX 135 which was my inspiration for bikes. Now he owns a Suzuki Access (he is a japanese freak!)
My inlaws have an i-10 kappa.

I love cooking, spending time with my friends and yes off late its with my daughter, my little princess Anjana!

I will very soon try to collect all the information that I have posted in facebook about my new Beat diesel (yeah i dont find any other place to interact with like minded people ) and post my experience.

Thanks for reading through my post and looking forward for future endeavors!

Hey balaji,

Great knowing a guy from the same city. Phew !! of course there are lots of chennaites here before I joined in. The distinction is that even I joined a couple of years back but just thought there is something that I got to do to start posting or replying but was lazy to figure it out how, since I was able to login using my username but not comment, post or reply to anything.

Lately, it was frustrating and I contacted the Team BHP Support and they asked me to try registering again as I did not activate the link sent last time to my mail ID, which i do not use much.

So, I tried again and I'm here Voila ! Its a feeling of bliss to comment, post and being quoted. Welcome aboard.

Btw, where are you from chennai , I still do have a Rx 135 (5-speed).

Cheers,
Chaos

Hi Chaos,
Good to know about you. I reside at perungalathur (next to tambaram). That 5-speed was a dream once for me and my brother, but didn't go for it as we already had a 4-speed, hence pulsar 180. Also when i bought my pulsar (2005), i was told that 5 speed was almost stopped.

Welcome to TBHP, or shall I say welcome back?!
That is a unique journey for you at TBHP - good that you managed to get the login details.
You are right - this is a unique forum of like-minded people sharing a common passion. Do share the ownership details of your Beat D along with pics.

For a second, I thought you were going to post your login details here.

Welcome back to T-BHP. Here's a poem that I learnt in primary school, decades back.

Balaji bajji
High Court Judgee
Kodambakkam Bridgee
Odanji Pochi

The last 2 lines is probably what happened to you all these years, forgetting your login details.
