An Introduction from a fresh BHPIAN

Hello to my fellow BHPIANS!
It's a pleasure & privilege to finally be a part of this community!
I've been tracking & following the team bhp forums since a while now, did attempt registration last year, got rejected :( got kinda depressed, but continued to follow!

This month I purchased my first-ever 'own' car (I paid for it!) which led to me going through a lot of forums on tbhp to help me make an informed decision! Once I received delivery of my spanking new Ford Figo Titanium 1.2, I figured it was high time that I too should be a part of this community to gain valuable knowledge & to be able to share my own insights based on the experience I have so far.
Luckily for me, and thanks to the tbhp team, my membership was approved & I was delighted!
I am now an active member and am almost constantly hooked on to tbhp, mostly on my phone!
Looking forward to an insightful & enlightening association with tbhp for many years to come!

Something about myself:
The name is Nishant Bhatia, 28, from Mumbai.
Cars I've had so far:
1. Learned driving on a Premier Padmini (sold)
2. Maruti Omni (sold)
3. Maruti 800Dx Mpfi (sold)
4. Maruti Zen Lxi Mpfi (sold)
5. Chevrolet Spark LT (current)
6. Ford Figo Zxi (current)
7. Fird Figo Titanium (current)

Driving experience:
I would say that I've got a fair bit of driving experience, have gone on a couple of long trips (apart from the regular drives):
1. Kolkatta - Mumbai: In an Alto Lx, took 3 days, 1982kms.
2. Mumbai - Kolkatta: The same Alto Lx, took 4 days, 2064kms.
3. Mumbai - Nathdwara - Mumbai: In my Zen Lxi, 1730kms.
4. Mumbai - Daman - Mumbai: Multiple trips, can't remember how many!
5. Mumbai - Lonavala - Mumbai: Around 2-3 trips.

When I bought my Zen Lxi as the second owner in 2007, it had done just 30k on the odo. I sold it last week with 1.18lakh kms on the odo!

Accidents experienced:
1. 2008, Zen Lxi: NH-8, left chassis damaged, cost to repair: 25k (post insurance)
2. 2012, Ford Figo Zxi: NH-8, front and rear smashed in a 7-car pile-up. Cost to repair: 30k (post insurance)

Oh and yeah, i forgot to mention what i do and what my interests are!
I'm with Vodafone Australia customer care as a Team Coach.
Interests: Smartphones, Internet, pc gaming & of course, tbhp forums!

Welcome Nishant. I suggest you start posting after due thought, and also observe to get the gist and flow of the forum. All forums have their own undercurrents. I am sure you will find your stay on the forum useful and educative. Do gradually start participating in the discussions.

Of course I presume you have read the rules and regulations.
